Married Life!! :)

Oh my goodness! Being married is the best thing EVER! We have so much fun! We love living together, it makes life that much more entertaining! So far, I have attacked him with a water gun when he came home from work one night, I had to pee in the shower because the toilet was clogged (with toilet paper, not poop. He killed like 5 roaches and used a little too much tp to do so), I get to attempt to cook, we have conversations in the middle of the night when he goes to bed ( I usually go to bed first, and I'm asleep when he comes in, so I never remember what we talk about, but he gets a good laugh..) we watch Phineas and Ferb ALL THE TIME, and we are constantly laughing, sometimes laughing so hard that we cry!

We love our apartment, especially the complex that we are in! The only thing we aren't too fond of is when somebody decides to turn on the tennis court lights when we are going to bed. Those lights are like football lights, huge and bright! So it lights up our whole place. But other than that, we love being so close to the club house. I take advantage of the pool when I can, but we have yet to use the racquetball court, gym, or sauna. Maybe one day.. We also have a really cool park about a mile away, and a nice little path that leads to it! It reminds me of the green belt in Idaho, except it follows the highway and not a river.

Yep, life is great!!

Since this is our first blog, we figure we should give a little background info on us.. So here it goes!

We met a little over 2 years ago, through mutual friends. On Nov. 3, 2008, about 6 months later, we finally starting dating! Then, in Nov 2009, we decided that we are gonna get married! So we started dress and ring shopping! Zach called the Las Vegas Temple on Jan 26 and set our wedding date and time, which was May 8, 2010 at 11 am! I bought my dress in Jan. He finally made it to Utah to buy my ring in Feb. On March 4, 2010 I got my ring! Here is the proposal story (since I know everybody loves hearing these stories)

That day we decided to go to dinner, then shop for clothes to wear in our engagement pics. So we went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory. While we were eating, Zach got a text from his mom. He accidentally read that text out load, and it said "The eagle has landed." He then tried to play it off like he had no idea what she meant by that. Well, we went back to his house after dinner so we can put my food in the fridge. While we were there, Zach grabbed "the eagle". He also showed me the certificate for my amazing diamond. Yeah, we did everything backwards! We then went to Town Square to shop! (Town Square is where we went on our first date, and our 6 month anniversary, and many other times! Most of our favorite dates are there) We shopped around, and without me realizing it, he tried to make sure we went in all of the stores that we went in on our first date. His plan was to propose at Town Square, but that didn't end up happening. When we got back to his house, and as I was about to leave to go to the gym, he proposed! It was a pretty funny proposal, but that's how we are. Obviously, I said yes!

I went through the Salt Lake City Temple on May 1, 2010. It was such an amazing experience! Zach was suppose to take me through the veil, but we think the temple worker got us confused with the other couple there and he didn't let Zach do that (so we did a short veil before we were sealed a week later). The SLC Temple is sooooo beautiful! And there is so much history there! I'm so glad that I was able to do a live session. I personally think it made it so much easier to understand.

We were sealed and married for time and all of eternity on May 8! It was the best day of my life! I still get a little teary eyed when I think about how I get to be with Zach forever! It was such an amazing day! After we got married and took some pics at the temple, we went to our restaurant, California Pizza Kitchen! Then relaxed a little before our reception. We had so much fun, and are so grateful for all the love and support that we have received from our family and friends! Everything turned out great!

Since then, married life has been great! It has been super easy for us to adjust! Life is AMAZING! I think this blog is getting a little long, so I will save our fun married stories for another time!
